Origin: Farmers across central to Wanguru, Kirinyaga county, Kenya
Kirinyaga lies near to the very central of Kenya, with the highest altitudes in the entire country. This can create challenges for farmers, but also contributes to the density, sweetness, and higher quality characteristics in the coffee. This lot was in fact one of the top-scoring lots of the year our import partners tasted. Expect sweet flavors of peach candy and tangerine, with accents of white wine, lime and caramel. It also has a surprisingly syrupy body! Try this one in any brew method – but if you’re a fan of longer specialty style espressos, we can’t recommend this enough.
