Looking to refine your cup? Use this handy brew compass from coffee professional Matt Perger. If your cup is a little too robust, extract less using these tips and parameters. Too weak? Extract more. Our light roasts may be a little more developed than what you’ve tried from other third-wave roasters, and have a tendency to taste roast-dominant when brewed under normal parameters. Generally you can grind a little coarser, with a slightly lower temperature to get juicy, balanced results. Our general recommended brew guidelines for our seasonal single origins are a 1 to 16-16.6 ratio (by weight) of coffee to water, with a consistent brew temperature of 205-degrees.
